Year 5 Teacher

November 2020 start

Primary School based in Rishton

Part time role (3 days a week)

The Head Teacher of a Primary School in Rishton is seeking a KS2 teacher to work full time in their average sized Year 5 class. This is a part time role (3 days a week), to begin in November 2020 until the end of the Summer term (July 2021). The Head Teacher is happy to consider NQTs, RQTs and experienced teachers for this role. The Primary School has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Head Teacher has stated how the staff are dedicated to the progression the pupils socially, emotionally and academically. You must also be able to plan and deliver a creative curriculum, create a purposeful and stimulating learning environment and form good relationships with children, parents/carers and staff. You would be expected to attend staff meetings, INSETs and Parents Evenings throughout the academic year.

In order to be considered for this role you must hold the following as a necessity:

-          QTS in Primary Education

-          Experience in working with children in a Primary setting

-          Experience teaching Key Stage 2

-          Have at least two education based references from your most recent employer(s) which are ‘GOOD’ or ‘OUTSTANDING’.
