Year 5 Teacher – FEBRUARY 2020 START

A fantastic opportunity for an inspirational teacher to join a primary school – this is due to a maternity leave. The Head Teacher is looking for a practitioner who will be an excellent role model to pupils and support staff with a forward thinking attitude. The ideal candidate will display resilience and understands the importance of building positive relationships with parents, staff and pupils. This is a full time teaching role beginning from February 2020, the role will continue until December 2020. The Head Teacher encourages collaborative planning; therefore there will be full support from a highly skilled KS2 Lead. 

The Head Teacher is keen to appoint a practitioner who is keen to contribute to wider school life and someone who has a clear passion for contributing to the development and learning of children. The School are keen to appoint a practitioner who has a wealth of experience within Key Stage 2 but the Head Teacher welcomes applications from Newly Qualified Teachers.

The pay and working hours:

The rate of pay will reflect the role and also the level of experience of the successful applicant. It is expected to fall within the bracket of GBP100-GBP130 per day, based on a 6.5 hour working day. To confirm also, this is a full time role to start from January 2020. The expectation is that the role will continue until December 2020.

Next Steps:

Candidates will be invited to a formal observation followed by an interview with the Headteacher. The Headteacher will arrange the observations in the beginning of January in order to secure the right person to begin this role after February half term.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
