Year 5 Teacher – Halewood (L26)

Location: Halewood, Liverpool
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: £120–£190 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Halewood area. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage pupils in upper Key Stage 2, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum that prepares them for Year 6.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Assessing and tracking pupil progress, ensuring all learners reach their potential.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to whole-school initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5.
  • Is passionate about raising standards and fostering a love of learning.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
