A faith Primary School is seeking to recruit a Year 5 Teacher on a full time basis. The position is to start in September 2019 and run until the end of the academic year (with a potential of becoming a permanent position). Experience delivering the National Curriculum & evidence of excellent Primary School classroom practice references is essential. There are a high number of pupils not meeting the National Standard within this class, therefore experience planning, delivering and differentiating to lower ability pupils and a proven track record of raising attainment is highly sought after for this role.

The Head teacher is keen to meet every shortlisted Teacher with the view to seeing them plan and deliver a high quality Maths or English lesson. With the need being in a Year 5 class, the successful candidate must have recent experience of gearing pupils up for the Year 6 SATS. This position offers candidates the scope to develop their career within a Primary school, alongside upholding high expectations of learning, attainment and behaviour.

To be successful:

  • You must hold Qualified Teacher Status
  • You must have previous experience of working in KS2
  • You must have a track record of raising attainment in KS2
  • You must be able to evidence good behaviour management techniques
