Year 5 Teacher - Blackburn Primary School

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Year 5 Teacher to teach in an average sized Church of England Primary school, based in Blackburn. Teaching Personnel is working alongside this school to appoint an excellent Year 5 teacher on a full time, long term basis. They want a teacher who is committed and enthusiastic.

The role is to start after Easter 2019 and will be continuing for the rest of the academic year. As this is a Church of England school, the school is looking for a teacher who can support the Christian ethos. You would be expected to demonstrate and apply the school values, lead whole school assemblies and follow relevant policies in school.

The school has a mixed catchment area; mainly children who are Asian Heritage attend the school, with a small percentage of white British pupils. The pupils at this school are known for their good behaviour, as well as their passion to learn. The lessons are always well organised and cater to all of the pupils individual needs.

This Church of England Primary School is constantly working to raise attainment levels across both key stages, and therefore wants to recruit a Year 5 Teacher who has a real passion to help the children to excel in their learning. Experienced teachers and NQTs are encouraged to apply for this role.
