An average sized, 'Outstanding' Primary School based in Chester-Le-Street are looking for a Year 5 Teacher to join the KS2 team.

Are you looking for a new opportunity to teach within a lovely 'Good' performing School?

We are seeking a strong Year 5 Teacher to teach a class of 29 pupils of mixed ability to start Tuesday 23rd April for the summer term.

Pupils enjoy coming to school and are happy, school provides a variety of experiences including outdoor learning. It is a forward-thinking and thriving environment with a committed senior leadership team in place. Details about this role:

  • Full time role for the summer term
  • Working in an Outstanding School
  • Teaching a Year 5 Class of 29, 2 SEN pupils (with TA support)
  • Competitive salary, earn up to £665 per week!
  • Must undertake the planning, teaching and assessment of all subjects

In order to apply for this role you must -

  • Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Year 5 pupils
  • Up to date with the Primary Curriculum
  • Be available from end of January till the summer
  • Be able to provide 2 good references
  • Valid DBS
