Year 5 - 1:1 Specialist Support Assistant - Primary School in Rishton


Opportunity to secure a full time position

This role requires an Specialist Support Assistant who has supported pupils with severe ADHD and behavioural difficulties

Knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum is desirable for this role


Job Type: Full-time (Monday- Friday)

Salary: GBP9.50 - GBP11.50 per hour

Start date: As soon as possible

End date: July 2020 – with the opportunity to go permanent


Teaching personnel are seeking to recruit an experienced specialist support assistant, to provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with ADHD and behavioural difficulties. The role is to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

Experience supporting pupils with behavioural difficulties, ADHD and working within a primary setting is essential for this role. The Headteacher has expressed an interest in finding a candidate who can be firm but fair and who has experience of working with pupils who require a nurturing approach.
