A good school in Finsbury Park are looking for an experienced SEN teaching assistant to work with a group of lower ability children in Year 4
The school is located in the heart of Finsbury Park and only several minutes walk from Finsbury Park station. The school:
• Is rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted
• Consistently challenges pupils to flourish and be curious
• Is inclusive and has excellent support for lower ability children
“Support staff are deployed well by teachers, and ensure that pupils remain on task in whole class teaching and when working in groups. As a result, the learning and progress of disabled pupils and those with special educational needs are good.”

The ideal person for this role will have the following desirable but not essential abilities/skills:
• At least 1 year’s experience working as a teaching assistant
• Experience working with children who have Autism
• Experience working with specific and moderate learning difficulties
• Proven and effective behaviour management
In addition, Teaching Personnel undertake strict checks to ensure all of our candidates are fully vetted before entering schools. We require an enhanced full and up to date DBS that is also registered on the update service.
