Graduate Teaching Assistant required in Rochdale

An Rochdale school are working in partnership with Teaching Personnel to recruit a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support their children in year 4. The school are looking for an excellent team player with an enthusiastic approach to children’s learning. The successful candidate will work with groups of children in the morning and support 1:1 and small group in the afternoon. The afternoon support will involve working with children who are behind their peers and need extra support to ensure good progress.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking for a career as a Teaching Assistant, HLTA or looking to become a teacher. The Head Teacher ensures all staff receive relevant training every half term so everyone is up-to-date and confident with the most recent training.

- This 2 form entry primary school was recently graded Good by Ofsted and is looking to become outstanding.

- Work from 8:20 – 3:40 each day.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
