Year 4 Teacher - Stockton

Are you a committed Year 4 Teacher with a drive to deliver inspirational and engaging lessons? Can you promote learning and motivate pupils to achieve results?

Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a highly regarded one form entry Primary School which has become an important part of the local community. The School, located in a popular area of Stockton, are looking to welcome a Year 4 Teacher to lead a class of 29 enthusiastic and vibrant children where behaviour is excellent with a positive attitude to learning. The ideal candidate will have prior KS2 teaching experience and excellent curriculum knowledge. The position is a Full Time role, set to begin after the Easter break in April 2019 and will be ongoing till the end of academic year with potential to secure a permanent position.

Details of role:

  • Teaching a Year 4 Class of 29 pupils that have a shown great progress in recent terms
  • To lead and manage two curriculum areas, including one core, across all key stages and to work with staff to maintain high standards in those subjects for which you are responsible
  • Must use initiative and present excellent leadership and supervisory skills
  • School boasts up-to-date modern facilities and large colourful classrooms.
  • Required to mark work to promote and facilitate Positive Pupil Development
  • Full time role commencing 29th of April 2019
  • Located close to local bus links with free car parking available on the school grounds

The role requires:

  • UK recognised QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Knowledge in regard to current Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • A passion to deliver the highest quality of education through a range of enrichment activities and creative teaching
  • Willingness to make a difference to assist the school in meeting requirements and raising standards
  • Valid DBS (A Child Workforce that is accessible through the Update Service)
  • Eligible to work in the UK (Right to work in the UK documentation)
