Classroom Teacher required for 4 weeks at an inclusive Primary School in Enfield Lock

A charming primary school located in Enfield are seeking a primary teacher with strong classroom presence to teach a Year 4 class, until the Easter holiday.

About the Teacher Role

As a classroom Teacher you will be required to teach the core subjects including English, maths, and science; as well as topic lessons ranging from history to PSHE to a Year 4 class. The school are therefore ideally looking for a Teacher who has previous experience of teaching Key Stage 2.

Teacher Specification

The successful applicant will be an energetic Primary Teacher who has excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum. The Headteacher would like a teacher with the imagination to make topics that some students may find somewhat lacklustre, into exciting lessons which their students are keen to work hard in.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous teaching experience in a UK primary school
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status
  • Be able to build strong rapport with children and staff
  • Have a child workforce DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
