Are you a vibrant teacher who is committed to delivering great lessons and high pupil outcomes?

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking to appoint a Year 4 teacher to work in a Scarborough school. The position is to ideally start after Easter although the position could start as soon as possible for the right candidate. The role will be initially for one term but could be longer.

The successful candidate will take full class responsibility and be responsible for planning, preparing, delivering and assessment in line role, school and curriculum expectations. Newly Qualified Teachers who have relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

The school is currently 'requires improvement' from their recent Ofsted inspection and are working to improve on this by implementing the correct measure in order to obtain 'Good' or 'Outstanding'.


What you will require:
Relevant qualifications (Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent

Evidence of good classroom control

A track record of demonstrating a strong ability to teach, plan and prepare lessons to Ofsted standards

A strong and creative approach to teaching and raising attainment

A commitment to develop the personalities, talents and abilities of all students

A confident and positive approach to working with children

The ability to be a proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement

An enthusiasm to learn and develop professionally

A willingness and enthusiasm to commit to the expectations of the role and desire to contribute to extra-curricular responsibilities

A Child Workforce Only DBS registered with the Update Service or you should be willing to apply for DBS through Teaching Personnel
