Year 4 Teacher required in Hyndburn Primary School

-Secure a long term position with the possibility of becoming permanent.

- Experience required in the delivery of Maths and English at KS2 Level.

A C of E Primary School Located in the Hyndburn area are looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Teacher to join their hard-working and vibrant team. The role is to start as soon as possible due to an unforeseen change in staffing arrangements.

The Practitioner is required to have an excellent knowledge of the National curriculum and be confident in delivering and planning good quality lessons. The Head Teacher has stated that the school sets high standards and the suitable Teacher must have had experience with 'Ofsted' and understand what makes a 'Good' School.

To apply you must hold;

  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Experience working in a UKS2 class and have recent references to support your application
  • Have good availability in February and for the rest of the year in order to take up the role

The Head Teacher has noted she wants to employ someone to bring fun into the classroom and has stated that the general behaviour of the school is 'Good', however, the Year 4 class can be quite 'Challenging' but are more than 'eager and willing to learn and are very well mannered children'. Strong Behaviour Management is crucial and the Head wants to appoint a Teacher who is spritely and enthusiastic.

The School is in an easily accessible location with bus routes nearby if you do not drive, however, if you do drive, parking at the School is spacious. The position is Full time Monday to Friday, working 6.5 hours a day.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £100-£130 per day (varies depending on experience)
