Year 4 Teacher

  • Primary School in in Clitheroe
  • Mid/ end of March 2021 start 

An average sized primary school in Clitheroe are hoping to recruit the best and most suitable full-time Year 4 teacher for this sought-after area. You would be covering a temporary gap in staffing within school and it would be needed for the rest of the academic year until July 2021.

Maintaining the schools well renowned high standards is imperative to being successful here.  The incoming Year 4 teacher will need to have the utmost commitment and dedication to this post, taking on full time responsibilities including, planning, marking, data entry, parents evening, continual assessments etc. In return, the management and whole school are ready to offer the successful Year 4 teacher extensive and regular support.

The primary school is well known for their track record of success, as the Year 4 teacher you would be given adequate timetabled PPA time to plan and have the use of a skilled teaching assistant in class who has experience in leading in maths and English intervention groups.

To be successful in this role:

-        A teacher with experience of teaching within Key Stage 2

-        Hard working, organised and committed to raising standards

-        Able to demonstrate strong behaviour management skills

The Head Teacher is keen to consider NQT, RQT and FQTs for this role, providing they have recent and relevant experience. They aim to shortlist and interview as soon as possible. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 17th March 2021.
