A large Primary school in Liverpool are in need of a part time Year 4 teacher who can work on a Monday and Tuesday in the next academic year from September 2017- July 2018. The role will be to cover a gap in staffing and the Head teacher has commented that the schools is GOOD by Ofsted and don’t have behavioural issues despite being in a socially deprived catchment area. He also commented that he has a supporting KS2 team who will work collectively with the successful candidate to ensure they are happy and well settled and feel part of the team.
Ideally the school are looking for a teacher who has experience working in KS2 and preferably someone who can ensure the children are able to make rapid progress in the year. The school do not have any flexibility with the days in which they can employ the teacher and so the days are fixed at Monday - Wednesday only. The job share teacher is an experienced practitioner and so the handover work and joint planning will be of a high quality. The school also has other classes in the same year group so the teacher will be well supported and expected to go above and beyond in terms of planning and delivery of the Year 4 Curriculum.
It is essential that you hold QTS
It is essential that you have recent experience in KS2
It is essential that you can work Monday - Wednesday from September to July next year and be committed to this role on a long term supply basis.
It is preferable that you have good behaviour management skills
It is preferable that you have a core subject degree
It is preferable that you are available the other days in the week to cover supply in school.
