Year 4 Learning / Behaviour Support Assistant - Dingle, South Liverpool - October 2018 Start

A Primary School based in the Dingle area of South Liverpool are seeking to recruit a Year 4 Learning & Behaviour Support Assistant to start in October 2018 to aid a student with challenging behaviour.

- Long term role starting in October 2018

- Must have 1-to-1 experience with students with ADHD, ASD and Challenging Behaviour

- Must have experience working as an LSA / BSA in KS2

- Possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate

School Information

This average sized primary school is based in south Liverpool. The proportion of pupils who are known to be eligible for the pupil premium is average. Around half of pupils are supported by the premium which is more than double the national average. Most pupils are White British but there is a small and increasing proportion of pupils who speak English as an additional language. The proportion of pupils who receive extra help from school staff because they have been identified as having special educational needs (school action) is around average. The proportion who are supported by external specialists because of their needs (school action plus) is more than double the national average.

Working directly with the school, Teaching Personnel are hoping to recruit a committed Year 4 LSA / BSA in a significant phase of the student's education. The inbound candidate will need complete commitment and dedication to this post as the student has challenging behaviour and has the tendency to hit out.

The successful candidate should be fully committed to aiding and assisting the student to access the KS2 framework. The primary focus is to support learning and development by using a range of techniques which are designed to better facilitate learning for the student.
