Are you an experienced KS2 Teacher? Do have experience working within Year 4? Are you looking for a new opportunity, working in a school with a strong team ethic and with a real passion to allow all staff to succeed? Are you looking to make a real difference to pupils who need a positive role model that can inspire and engage?

If so a larger than average sized Catholic primary school, located in the Orrell area of Wigan (WN5), is currently looking to appoint a Year 4 teacher to join their team of KS2 teachers. The role will be to start as soon as possible due to a member of staff going on maternity and will be a full time class teacher role. The school are keen to appoint as quickly as possible to arrange staff to play to each individual's strength working as part of a team to bring the best out of each individual.

In order to be successful you will need to:

  • Have a strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum
  • Be able to demonstrate good practice, planning and delivering engaging lesson that meet the needs of each individual, inspiring pupils to work independently and strive to succeed.
  • Be able to implement effective behaviour management techniques and have a strong classroom presence.
  • Be a strong communicator and be able to work as part of a team sharing responsibilities throughout each year group and key stage.
  • Have a real willingness to make a real difference in pupils learning journeys.
  • Be able to support the school's Catholic ethos.

The role is suitable for both experienced and newly qualified teachers.
