Year 3 Teaching Assistant for Primary Academy in Tameside, OL6

• Year 3 Teaching Assistant – Possible Contract in the future.

• Starting in January or February HT for the right person.y

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a newly converted primary academy in the Tameside, OL6 who are currently looking to appoint to their growing KS2 department. As a school with fantastic support structures in place and modern facilities, this Year 3 teaching assistant positions would be both satisfying and fulfilling.

The Position...

•Year 3 Teaching Assistant – Working in a 2 form Year 4 group to cover a recruitment gap initially. For the right person, there is a potential school’s contract and extension available into the new academic year. Delivering phonics, literacy and numeracy small group and intervention work alongside the class teacher.

The Ideal Person…

• Will have strong behaviour management skills and good subject knowledge.

• Will have a positive attitude, personality, high energy and motivation and good work ethic.

• Will be willing to be flexible and potentially commit to the role for the rest of the academic year (although not essential.)

This school is in requires improvement; however OFSTED have commented on how the SLT have put many structures and strategies in place to drive them towards being a “Good” school very soon.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
