Our partner primary school in the Little Lever area are seeking to recruit an experienced Year 3 teacher to start January 2019.

  • Full time position, initially fixed term contract
  • FQT required

  • Salary (£22,023 - £37,496)

A larger than average sized primary school is looking to recruit a successful Year 3 teacher to start in January. It is important that the successful applicant is able to continue the high expectations straight away and is able maintain a strong classroom presence. At an important stage of the children's education, the incoming Year 3 teacher will need to have the utmost commitment and dedication to this post, taking on full responsibilities including, planning. Marking, data entry, parents evening, continual assessments etc. In return, the management and whole school are ready to offer the successful Year 3 teacher extensive and regular support.

The school is based in the Little Lever area of Bolton and prides itself on how it supports pupils socially, emotionally and educationally. Additionally the school has previously been graded as Good by Osfted and is look for a Year 3 teacher with previous experience and a proven track record of raising attainment is a priority for the school to continue moving forward successfully.

In order to be successful you will need to:

  • Have a strong knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum
  • Be able to demonstrate good practice, planning and delivering engaging lesson that meet the needs of each individual, inspiring pupils to work independently and strive to succeed.
  • Be able to implement effective behaviour management techniques and have a strong classroom presence.
  • Be a strong communicator and be able to work as part of a team sharing responsibilities.
  • Have a real willingness to make a real difference in pupils learning journeys.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
