Year 3 Teacher required for Maternity Cover

Job description

An experienced Year 3 Teacher is required to join this Catholic Primary school in Clapham Junction to cover a maternity leave.

Teaching Personnel have been approached by the Head to appoint a Year 3 Teacher to cover a year long maternity leave, commencing in April 2019. The post will be full time and the successful candidate will need to become invested in the school ethos; supporting with parent's evenings, developing schemes of work and generally becoming a part of the supportive staff team already in place.

The class has an existing Teaching Assistant to support with the transition of a new Class Teacher and there will be a handover period with the current Year 3 Teacher. The school is easily accessible via public transport and we will offer competitive rates of pay to the successful candidate.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will have QTS
  • Will have prior experience working with children in Key Stage 2
  • Will have a real passion and desire for education
  • Able to get to Clapham Junction
