Year 3 Teacher

Job description

Do you have experience working with children with Autism?

  • Are you looking for work in a new stimulating environment?
  • We are looking for committed Teaching Assistants to work in schools in and around Chorley!
  • *CPD Opportunities*

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of schools in the Chorley area who are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to work 1:1 with children with Special Educational Needs. Schools are regularly approaching us requesting experienced Specialist Teaching Assistants to work with children of varying abilities and particularly to work with children with Severe Autism.

Most recently we have recruited Teaching Assistants to work with children with physical disabilities and also SEMH needs. We always need a variety of specialists on board with us and are constantly on the look out for committed practitioners.

Situated in the Chorley area of Lancashire, the schools we work with are looking for KS1 and KS2 specialists to work on a full or part-time basis, as with all supply roles there is always the potential for a permanent role in a school. You will work directly with the school’s SENCO, being involved in lessons and taking responsibility for your own groups of children. A degree in a subject related to schools would be ideal, however the school are happy to consider Level 2 or level 3 trained Teaching Assistants with experience working with children with challenging behaviour who are committed to making a difference.

If you are interested in this position, please apply with your CV straight away (apply now link) or email chloe.gardiner@teachingpersonnel.com – alternatively call Chloe on 01772 842155 for more information.
