Part Time KS2 PPA Teacher required within a ‘Good’ Nelson Primary School

  • The role will involve planning from the LCC scheme of work, delivering & assessing using the schools marking policy.
  • Experience working in a range of KS2 classes & strong behaviour management is essential for this role.
  • NQT’s are welcome and encouraged to apply!

The successful candidate will be required to cover a range of PPA sessions across KS2 and deliver a subject specialism on a part time basis. The school can work around the ideal candidate as to which days they wish to work, ideally 3 days per week.

The position is to start in September 2017 and run for the full academic year, with the opportunity to go permanent depending on feedback from staff & candidate. The ideal candidate will have experience planning, delivering and assessing the KS2 National Curriculum to a high standard & have good classroom based references are essential for this role.

The School:

Within the last two years the school has made vast changes to there structure and marking policies, which has seen an improvement on behaviour and raising attainment of pupils. The Head Teacher is looking for an experienced teacher who can slot into an existing vibrant team and hit the ground running.

Essential:

The Head Teacher has asked that the successful candidate have a subject specialism, this can be any subject and will be utilised within the position. Both Fully & Newly qualified teachers are urged to apply as the school is classed as a ‘teaching school’ and can support teachers new to the profession.
