Year 3 Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a primary school in Accrington as they require an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher. The role is covering a scheduled absence in school so will be starting in January 2021 until April 2021.

This primary school is looking for a teacher with Year 3 experience who has strong behaviour management, to join their hardworking department and continue to ensure all children meet their individual targets while challenging them academically to push themselves further. The school is extremely welcoming and is very nurturing, the dedicated staff work effectively together and have very successful relationships with parents and the local community. This is a full-time position, for the full Spring term (January 2021 - April 2021). You will be responsible for a Year 3 class of up to 28 mixed ability pupils. They have a supportive and experienced teaching assistant in class and a 1:1 SEN support assistant in the class in the mornings. You will be required to plan, deliver and assess work in line with the National Curriculum.

This primary school is average sized for pupils across ages 4-11, the school aims to work in partnership with parents to ensure all pupils are achieving the best they can in a high-quality learning environment. All staff at the school share the ambition and drive to keep improving the school and encouraging pupils to achieve the best results they can and enjoy their time in school.

The ideal candidate for this teacher role will:

  • • Be a qualified teacher with QTS
  • • Have experience of working within Year 3
  • • Develop good relationships with students to ensure they have every learning opportunity
  • • Offer a range of exciting, diverse lessons that all pupils can access
  • • Have high expectations on students in both learning and behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
