A dedicated Year 3 Teaching Assistant is required for a role beginning on w/c 14th of May holidays within a 'GOOD' school in Tameside. The position will be up until the end of the Christmas term! This three form primary school has been praised as a 'GOOD' school. This 'GOOD' school promotes a rich and challenging learning experience. The head teacher is looking for an Year 3 Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with 4 year 3 pupils who need additional help with their reading & writing, so having phonics experience is highly desired.

The ideal candidate will work with the school to continue to create a safe and caring environment, as well as up-hold the head teacher's high expectations of all staff. To be considered for this post you must have previous experience of working 1:1 with a small group of pupils, this role may suit a teaching assistant who has experience working with Early years & KS1 pupils as you will have phonics experience. This is an ideal opportunity for you to experience a year 3 class environment and work closely with 3 delightful pupils who just need that extra support.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
