Year 3 Class Teacher Required

  • Full time fixed term contract
  • Start date, ASAP
  • Astley Bridger, Bolton, BL1
  • Average sized Primary School
  • Salary (£22,023 - £37,496)

Are you experienced working within KS2? Do you have a strong knowledge of the year 3 curriculum? Would you like the opportunity to become a valued member of the KS2 team? Do you have a passion to make a real difference in children's learning?

If so an average sized, one form entry, primary school located in the heart of Bolton is currently looking to appoint a Year 3 class teacher to start as soon as possible with the view to continue until Summer initially. This could then be extended for the right person. The school is described as 'providing a warm and welcoming environment for pupils, parents and carers. Pupils' behaviour in class and around school is typically good. They are polite and friendly towards one another, and have positive relationships with their teachers. Pupils are enthusiastic about the range of experiences that the school has provided for them' by Ofsted and would like someone who is able to share this same ethos.

In order to be successful for this role you will need to:

  • Have a strong understanding of the Year 3 curriculum.
  • Be able to demonstrate 'Good' teaching practice, planning and delivering inspiring and engaging lesson that meet the needs of all learners, providing pupils with the skills to succeed in what they are try to achieve.
  • Have a strong classroom presence and be able to implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Have strong communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team.
  • Be able to differentiate activities to meet the needs of all learners, creating an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Have a real passion to make a difference to children's learning.
