Year 3 Class Teacher (KS2)

A lovely two form entry mainstream school in Islington, N7 are recruiting for a Year 3 Class Teacher to join their incredible team. The school is a 13 minute walk to Holloway Road station (Piccadilly line). The school is rated 'Good' by Ofsted and continues to advance.

The school have a highly effective senior leadership team whose members work alongside you to deliver strong outcomes for all pupils. The school monitors and evaluate the learning in great detail and this has ensured that good standards have been maintained and strengthened since the last Ofsted inspection.

The role:

Role: Year 3 Class Teacher (KS2)

Position type: Full-time, until the end of the academic year

(8:20-15:40)

Experience in KS2 (Year 3 preferred)

Main Pay / Upper Pay Scale

Start: 22/04/2019

Successful Year 3 Teacher:

  • The successful applicant needs to have a team player attitude
  • The teacher must be extremely driven, reliable and hard-working
  • Teacher displays a clear and thorough understanding of the curriculum
  • Secure knowledge and skills relating to strategies in working with pupils of all achievement levels.
  • An interest, motivation and passion for working with special needs children and developing skills to facilitate this

The school:

Classrooms are inviting and attractive and the corridors are filled with colourful displays to reflect the rich diversity of the school. This makes pupils feel proud of their school and gives them a strong sense of belonging. The school is voluntary aided, mixed gender, state faith Catholic Primary School. The school are part of the Archdiocese of Westminster and the London Borough of Islington.

This is a busy and friendly school with 475 pupils from the ages of 3 to 11. All the staff are extremely to be apart of a successful school that promotes and entwines traditional values with transformational education.

The school also promotes additional enrichment activities such as; Mad Hatter's Tea parties, Christmas lunch and jumper day, Easter Bonnet parade and Spelling Bee. The school promotes every child's goals and provides an environment where every single student is encouraged to reach them
