Year 3/4 Teaching Assistant wanted in an 'OUTSTANDING' school

  • An 'OUTSTANDING' school.
  • Full time positions starting after the Summer Half Term holidays
  • £270 - £290 per week (depending upon experience)

A Year 3 or 4 Teaching Assistant is required for a role beginning after the after the summer half term within an 'OUTSTANDING' school in Stockport on a full time basis. The position will be up until the Christmas term to cover a maternity leave.

This two form highly successful primary school has been praised for its effort that is made to celebrate the pupil's unique qualities & nurturing their skills, abilities & personalities. The successful candidate will work with an inspirational head teacher to continue to create a happy environment. The head teacher is looking for the right Year 3/4 Teaching Assistant to continue to build wonderful positive relationships with pupils & continue to work with the class teacher to help them to become confident learners who aim high.

The ideal candidate will not only fit in well with the Year 3/4 class but also the leadership team. To be considered for this post you must have previous experience assisting the year 3/4 class teacher. Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum would also be beneficial.

To be considered for the position you must

  • Have experience working with children in the Year 3/4 or KS2
  • Have a proactive approach to assisting the teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
