Teaching Personnel are helping recruit a Teaching Assistant for a large primary school based in the Rothwell area of Leeds. The role has arisen due to a resignation. The position will be in one of the year 3/4 classes.
This large Primary school has been graded "GOOD" by OFSTED in 2018 and continues to lead by example in all aspects. The head teacher has been commended for their leadership and the school have been also commended on providing staff with knowledge and sense of purpose. Due to this, the school is a very sought after school to work at. This is the perfect opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to gain experience and learn a lot from working in a "Good" school.
The role will involve working in the lower ability class of one of the Year 3 or 4 classes. As well as general TA work in supporting the teacher in class, the role will also require small group work with the pupils in Maths, English and Reading. Experience in Key Stage 2 is a preference but not a necessity as the school has stated the right personality and attitude will go a long way as long as the candidate has previous experience with working in the class room in a Primary school.
