Teaching Assistant - Year 2 - Rochdale (OL12)

Teaching Personnel is working closely with this Rochdale (OL12) based school, they are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team after the Easter break.

This is a 'one-form' entry school which has been rated as 'Good' by Ofsted. The Head teacher works hard to maintain the positive and warm atmosphere within the school. The successful candidate, whilst working under the supervision of a qualified teacher, must be able to work independently and provide support to small groups of children in order to assist in their learning and development. The position is based within a class of 36 enthusiastic pupils who are making great progress due to the motivational method of teaching. The School provides free onsite car parking and is easily accessible via A663 and A627.

Essentials:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Valid DBS (A Child Workforce that is accessible through the Update Service)
  • Eligible to work in the UK (right to work in the UK documentation)
  • Recent experience working with KS1 children
