The ideal KS1 Teaching Assistant is someone who has already worked successfully in a school-based role and can demonstrate their passion for education, supporting learning in the process and use this role to realise their ambition of becoming a teacher. The KS1 Teaching Assistant will possess a naturally responsible disposition and an ability to develop strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
In this KS1 Teaching Assistant position you will be assisting teachers in and out of class across the entire KS1 phase and you will be taking on class leading responsibilities. In this KS1 Teaching Assistant post you will be utilising the fantastic resources available, including multiple sensory rooms, which really helps pupils to engage and be exciting about learning. You will have many responsibilities here however your main focus is to provide excellent classroom support where needed.
