Learning Support Assistant (Immediate start)- Sandal- WF2

  • Must have previous experience working with Primary School children and the National Curriculum
  • Must have a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or a University Degree
  • Successful candidate swill receive; Up to £80 per day, Teacher referral bonuses and CPD Training at leeds Trinity University

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Learning Mentor who is looking for a new career in a Primary School in Sandal- WF2. The school has recently received an Outstanding graded Ofsted (2016) and have 408 children currently on role. The school is located just 10 minutes drive away from the City Train Station with regular bus routes to the school.

The ideal assistant must have previous experience in Key Stage 1 and must be able to deliver Interventions in both Literacy and Numeracy. A couple of pupils have Special Educational Needs and have one to one support in class. The Ideal Teaching Assistant should have phonics experience using either; Read Write Inc- Ruth Miskin or Letters and Sounds.
