- Work in a general role supporting small groups and individual children
- Long term opportunity, with between £8.07-10 per hour
- Recent Key Stage 1 experience is a necessity- Level 2 Qualification or above
The Role:
The role is to start after the October half term holidays, the successful candidate will be expected to provide quality support in line with the KS1 Curriculum framework, specifically targeting Maths, Reading and Writing skills. The position does have the longevity to continue until Easter 2017 and this is an excellent opportunity to make an impression amongst Senior Leaders in school who have contacts across the St Helens area.
The School:
The school is one of the top performing Primary Schools within the St Helens area, seeing children arrive in school who are working below expected levels and then by the time they leave are in line if not ahead of target. The school is located near A58 and tends to have a mixed catchment area, with children attending school with varying languages including Polish and Arabic.
The Head teacher:
The Head teacher is an established figure in school and has a vision to push the school from Ofsted Requires Improvement to Good within the next year or so. She is keen to implement a strong community spirit amongst staff and parents as well maintaining high standards for behaviour as well as academic development. She has informed the agency that she is looking for a ‘committed and experienced practitioner who is keen to come into school and impact on the children’s learning’
