Fantastic Primary school in Garforth is looking for a dedicated experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their school on a permanent and long-term basis.

Ofsted rated the thriving Primary school 'Outstanding' in 2015 as teachers at the school provide children with the highest standard of the UK curriculum and providing well planned interactive and skilled lessons.

Details of the Role

** Garforth - North Leeds **

** Key Stage 1 Teacher**

** Long-term and Part-time **

** 2 days a week**

** Immediate Start **

** £130 to £180 per day**

A highly regarded school is looking for an engaging and skilled Key Stage 1 educationalist to teach their bubbly and outgoing Year 2 class on a long-term and part-time basis.

The ideal Key Stage 1 Teacher will be creating effective and 'Outstanding' lessons twice a week for children aged 6 and 7 years old. This role presents a great opportunity for an experienced Key Stage 1 teacher to build more skills and build rapport with children getting ready to move into Year 3 at the end of the academic year.

Essentially, the working day will include teaching general subjects: Mathematics, English, Science, History etc to Year 2 students.


The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a UK recognised Teaching Qualification with QTS
  • Have experience teaching in a Primary School.
  • Hold a 'Good' to 'Outstanding' Teaching Record
  • Will be able to direct and build rapport with students swiftly
  • Be able to start immediately
  • Be proactive and confident with classroom management
