Teaching Personnel are currently working with a one form entry Primary school in Darwen, the school are a close knit community made up of a strong team or supportive staff. They are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Year 2 teacher to start in the upcoming academic year to cover maternity leave until Christmas at least. The successful applicant will be required to plan, teach and assess KS1 National Curriculum to a Year 2 Class and participate in all aspects of school life.
Behaviour at this smaller than average school was graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, pupils enjoy school and are described as ‘polite and friendly’; attendance is also described as Good. The Head of School has commented that she would like a Primary practitioner who can work collectively with the children, their parents and the staff in school to ensure they receive the best opportunity to excel academically and socially.
Are you dedicated, hard working and eager to work with children in a school setting? Have you had experience planning, delivering and assessing the KS1 National Curriculum within Year 2? If YES is the answer to the above questions then this position within a Darwen Primary School will be ideal.
