A fantastic prep school in Wimbledon is looking for a full time year 2 teacher to start in January

  • Long term role with the potential of an immediate start
  • Experience of teaching in KS1 is essential

Teaching Personnel has just been contacted in regards to filling a Year 2 full time teaching position in a fantastic prep school in Wimbledon, London. The school are currently interviewing for this role so the turn around will be very quick.

The ideal teacher:

• Must possess a QTS (if from the UK) and a relevant teaching qualification from either the UK or a country that is apart of the Commonwealth.

• Must have a valid DBS that is registered on the update service.

• Must be able to commit for the full term of employment

• Excellent communication skills, especially in a team environment.

• Ambitious to make a positive difference to the children’s learning.

• Confident with teaching a Year 2 class as well as setting and performing all associated teaching requirements.

The ideal candidate will be able to plan, prepare and deliver stimulating and effective lessons that engage pupils in class and keep them developing academically. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
