Teaching Personnel are working closely with a large 3 form entry Junior School with attached Language Unit. The school serves a pleasant residential area of Swale. Facilities are excellent and include an ICT suite with 35 PCs. The school has a large, well-stocked library.
The supportive staff work closely in Year Group Teams. The school has achieved a number of awards including the Activemark, ICT Mark, Healthy Schools, Artsmark Gold and Eco Schools Green Flag. The school was graded as Good by Ofsted in April 2014. The school is well known for Creativity, Sport and Music.
Job description
The school are looking for a qualified teacher to cover a Year 2 class until the end of the academic year on a permanent basis. This will be a full time position and the teacher will be required to take on the responsibilities of the class including planning, marking, assessments etc.
What we look for in our teachers:
The ability to teacher a range of timetabled subjects to a high standard.
Good behaviour management skills.
Strong communication skills to help liaise with pupils, parents and other staff members.
An enthusiastic teacher who has a genuine passion for being in the classroom and are able to inspire pupils.
Requirements:
Qualified teacher status (NQT's will be considered).
A up to date DBS check (This can be applied for through Teaching Personnel)
