Year 2 Teacher – January Start

Location: Gosport, Hampshire
Contract: Full-time, from January 2026 (Maternity Cover / Permanent Opportunity)
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience)

Are you an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated teacher looking for your next opportunity?
We are seeking a passionate Year 2 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school community in Gosport from January 2026.

About the Role

As our new Year 2 Class Teacher, you’ll:

  • Inspire a love of learning through engaging and imaginative lessons.

  • Support pupils in achieving their best across the curriculum, particularly in phonics and early literacy.

  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated Key Stage 1 team and support staff.

  • Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and kindness.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2.

  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and a commitment to inclusive education.

  • Brings energy, creativity, and a passion for helping children thrive.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
