Year 2 Teacher - ASAP Start Date - Rochdale (OL11)
An Ofsted 'Outstanding' school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Year 2 Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team. This is the perfect role for both NQTs and experienced Year 2 teachers.
This school is based in Rochdale and has been rated as 'Outstanding' in all aspects. Pupils are exceptionally well looked after and attain the highest possible standards. Teachers set challenging targets which encourages pupils to aspire to achieve their best. The school have a fantastic relationship with parents and the local community, which aids the positive contribution to pupils' personal development and community cohesion.
The pupils have excellent behaviour and are very proud to be a part of the school. They are motivated and challenged by staff to 'aim high'. Pupils enjoy going to school and feel happy and valued.
The head teacher is looking for someone to join the team to maintain the high standard currently in place. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children, KS1 in particular and will be dedicated and passionate about education and teaching.
This is a 'larger than average', two form school. The successful candidate can expect to receive a great deal of support from other teachers as well as the current class' teaching assistant.

The school is easily accessible via A663 and A671 and also has various public transport links. This role is on a full time, long term basis with the possibility to become permanent for the right candidate.
