Year 2, Key Stage 1 Teacher - Rochdale Primary School, Easter start. - Milinrow, Ol16.

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of a "Good" 2 form entry primary school in the Milinrow are of Rochdale Ol16. This Rochdale Primary School are looking to appoint a Year 2 teacher to start from Easter with the possibility of a contract in the future.

The Teacher:

  • Year 2 Teacher - Good classroom practitioner
  • Experience of teaching in either Year 1, 2, 3,
  • Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
  • Experience of delivering phonics in KS1 - "Read, Write, Inc"
  • Knowing and understanding the needs of inner-city children and EAL children
  • Understanding of LAC and a nurturing side to their teaching
  • Fully Qualified Teacher or Recently Qualified Teacher

The School and Position:

  • £22,244 - £37,781 Pro Rata
  • Year 2 Class
  • Mixed ability levels with high levels of EAL
  • Some SEN children with 2 SEN Statements and support.
  • No Behaviour Issues
