Hours: Full time

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 teacher to support our client school in York from May 2018 for one half term. This post is full time in a Year 2 class, with a view to a longer term and permanent role within the school.

The successful applicant will be highly driven and able to demonstrate a genuine love for education. Although this is a temporary supply role, we are looking for a teacher who can take full class responsibilities and get involved with the wider life of the school.

The school is a large, 2 form entry school, with a friendly team of staff who are always on hand to support.

In order to be considered for this role, you must be registered with Teaching Personnel. In order for us to clear you for work you must hold UK QTS and be able to:

  • provide 2 referee's from your 2 most recent employers
  • apply for a Child Workforce DBS if you do not already obtain one and register it to the update service

We are seeking a KS1 teacher who has:

  • recent experienced teaching in KS1, preferably Year 2
  • 'good' and 'excellent' references
  • a proven track record of excellent teaching
