We are currently working alongside a Mainstream Primary school in Salisbury who use Teaching Personnel exclusively for their staffing needs. This school holds an excellent reputation in the area and the children display exemplary behaviour.

The Headteacher of this school is looking for an inspirational Teaching Assistant to support a young boy within their Year 2 class. The young boy has had some gaps in education therefore he requires additional support with Literacy and Numeracy.The child is currently working below age related expectations and as a result the school have received additional funding to close the gap between this child and his peers.

The successful candidate must be a good listener, have a calm manner, and be able to implement effective strategies to improve Literacy and Numeracy. The ideal candidate will have worked with children either in small groups on a 1:1 basis previously. The working hours for this role are 8:45-12:30 and this would include lunch duties, there will be a 30 minute lunch break. This school is located off the main road however it is easily accessible using public transport links.

Essential: To be considered for this role, you must have a relevant Level 2 or above qualification.

This role is to begin ASAP and the Headteacher is hoping to appoint by Friday 8th February. If you are reading this advert after this date - please still apply as this school have pre-empted they may also require a 2nd teaching assistant for their Y3 Class.
