Job description

Teaching Personnel is recruiting for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant / KS1 TA to join a successful and popular school in the borough of Wandsworth, South West London. The Year 1 Teaching Assistant / KS1 TA will be working 1:1 with a child with ASD. This is a full time Year 1 Teaching Assistant / KS1 TA position is to start after February half term and will be contracted for the full academic year. There is also a possibility that this role could lead to a permanent placement for the right candidate.

· Role will be contracted till the end of the academic year with the potential to turn permanent

· Daily rate of up to £85 (depending on experience)

In order to be considered for this role, the Year 1 Teaching Assistant / KS1 TA will need to meet the following criteria:

· Have a minimum of 6 weeks experience working in a UK-based classroom (essential)

· Have previous experience working with children with SEN

· Be eligible to work in the UK (must have a valid Visa)

· Possess valid references, DBS/police check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
