  • Full time position starting after the Easter holidays
  • £50.44 - £55+ (depending upon experience)
  • Year 1 Position!

A dedicated and enduring Teaching Assistant is required within a year 1 class, beginning after the Easter holidays within a welcoming school in Stockport on a full time basis. The position is to continue until the end of the academic year to cover long term sickness but may be extended depending upon circumstances. This two form larger than average primary school has been praised as a 'GOOD' school that provides a happy, safe & supportive atmosphere! From Early Years to the end of year 6 the pupils make great progress. The pupils are admired for their good behaviour, as well as their relationships with surrounding adults.

The ideal candidate will not only be an incredible teaching assistant but will also add to the schools 'GOOD' standards & continue to make a significant difference to the lives of the pupils. To be considered for this post you must have previous experience of working within a Primary education environment. Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, Jolly Phonics & SATS experience would also be beneficial!
