A school we work closely with at Teaching Personnel are looking for a general teaching assistant to start after February half-term on the 24th in the LS9 area of Leeds. The upcoming position will be working as a general classroom support assistant for a Year 1 class on a full-time basis and will be leading to a permanent role for the right candidate. The hours of work will be from 8:30am - 3:30pm and until 4:00pm on a Thursday.
Rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, this school is located within the LS9 postcode of Leeds and is close to the city centre and public transport such as; buses and train services. This primary school are looking for enthusiastic and supportive TA who can help raise pupil attainment in the Year 1 class in; Reading, Phonics and Maths. The friendly primary team are looking for a confident and experienced TA who will help enhance the schools ethos, values, expectations and beliefs.
Teaching Personnel works closely with Leeds Trinity University which provides our candidates with the knowledge and skills they need to develop both personally and professionally as a teaching assistant. - Candidates must be available school hours (8:30 - 3:30/4:00), full-time and able to start from the 24th February
- Candidates must have a positive attitude and have experience working with young people in a primary education environment
- Candidates must be enthusiastic and confident when working with primary school aged children of all levels and abilities
- Candidates need to be open to trial days and providing one-to-one support for pupils of lower abilities or pupils with SEN
- Candidates must have an up to date CV and 2 references which are educational based
- Candidates applying MUST have previous experience working with Primary school aged children in a professional capacity
