An ‘OUTSTANDING’ primary school in Manchester (M16) area is looking for a teaching assistant to join their KS1 team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with specific needs on a 1:1 basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children on the autistic spectrum, however, a candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn may be considered. This is a school which prides itself on ‘creating highly motivating & interesting lessons’ for its children, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable with exploring alternative methods for assisting teaching.

The ideal candidate will:

? Have a clear understanding of the KS1 curriculum

? Provide 1:1 support to an autistic child in year 2

? Have strong phonics knowledge
