AN EXPERIENCED SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT IS REQUIRED FOR A PRIMARY SCHOOL IN SOUTHAMPTON.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You would be working as a 1:1 teaching assistant for a wonderful boy in year 2. He has been diagnosed with both ADHD and ASC. Your role will be to help him with both reading and maths interventions along with helping the classroom teacher when needed.
This role will run until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.

The classroom teacher you will be working with has over 20 years’ experience who along with the senior leadership team will be more than happy to help you transition into your new role.
ABOUT YOU:
- You will have at least one years’ experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school (Essential)
- Experience working as a 1:1 TA (desired)
- Have a child workforce DBS or be willing to obtain one
- Strong behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
