Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday)

Salary: £100-£150 per day

Start date: Monday 2nd September 2019

End date: Friday 3rd April 2020

Are you looking for a new job opportunity starting in September? A Primary School that has regularly used Teaching Personnel for over 2 years are hoping to source a Year 1 Class Teacher. They currently use Teaching Personnel for a variety of needs in school such as long term cover, day to day cover and SEN support. The Primary School is situated in Blackburn and has close links with a number of the schools in the surrounding area. The role is required to cover a maternity leave within the school and is for at least two terms from September 2019 until April 2020.

The class will be made up of 29 pupils, you will be expected to deliver practical and engaging lessons following the National Curriculum. You would have a full time Teaching Assistant who is currently working in Year 1 therefore has good subject knowledge. The Head Teacher has commented that they would like to appoint a teacher who has experience teaching Phonics and has good Phonics knowledge (Phase 3-5). You will be given allocated PPA time and expected to attend school INSETs, staff meetings and Parents Evenings.

The Head Teacher is keen to meet candidates who are interested in this role then following on from that she would like to arrange observations and interviews.
