Year 1 Teacher

  • Full time fixed term contract
  • Start date, September 2018
  • Smaller than average RC Primary School

Teaching Personnel are working in tandem a smaller than average sized Roman Catholic primary school, located in Atherton area, recently graded as Good by Ofsted, is currently looking to appoint a Year 1 class teacher to join their already successful team of practitioners.

You will need to:

  • Have a strong knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum.
  • Have a minimum of a one year experience working within year 1.
  • Have a strong phonic knowledge.
  • Be able to demonstrate good practice, ensuring that all pupils are able to make progress.
  • Be adaptable and able to meet the needs of all children in order to create an inclusive environment, in order to enable all pupils to succeed.
  • Be a good communicator

The school is looking to appoint someone as soon as possible and will continue through until July. Interviews will consist of a 15 minute phonics observation and an informal conversation with the head Teacher.

The school is located just of the M61 motorway.
