The Head Teacher of a client school in Chesterfield would like for a Year 1 teacher to join their team and cover the class on Mondays and Tuesdays. The successful candidate will be required to start from September 2019 and the position covers the remainder of the Academic year.
This one-form entry school has been rated as 'Outstanding' and is led by a supportive head teacher. The children are well behaved and eager to learn, they are also very respectful of staff and each other. Staff members have a fantastic relationship with parents and also the surrounding community.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with KS1 children and will need to be flexible and adaptable.
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Have QTS
- Have prior experience working with KS1 children
- Be passionate about children and education
- Be enthusiastic, energetic and flexible
- Be able to start after Easter
The school is easily accessible via public transport and has parking on site. The Year 1 class is made up of 25 children and is supported by a General Teaching assistant who has worked with the school for the last 6 years.
