One of our client primary schools in York have approached us to help them secure a new teacher to cover a maternity leave with their Year 1 class.

The role ...

  • Part time (2.5 days per week)
  • Maternity cover
  • 7 week block booking from 4th June - 20 July
  • Average sized Year 1 class of 24 pupils

Our client school is a friendly, busy Infant school which provides a nurturing learning environment to encourage self-confidence and inspire every child to reach their full potential. It was graded 'Good' by Ofsted in 2017.

To be considered for this role, you must be registered with Teaching Personnel and obtain a Child Workforce DBS on the update service, or be prepared to apply for a new one. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
